Kathy Duncan is an attorney with Powell Goldstein LLP's Labor, Employment & Immigration Practice Group. Ms. Duncan focuses her practice in Employment Law and Local Government Law. Prior to working for Powell Goldstein, Ms. Duncan worked with the Office of the Fulton County Attorney and Constangy, Brooks & Smith, LLC. Ms. Duncan also previously clerked for the Honorable Linda T. Walker, United States Magistrate Judge, where she assisted her by drafting orders adjudicating motions for summary judgment and other matters almost exclusively relating to Title VII, Section 1983, Section 1981, Rehabilitation Act, ADA, ADEA, and FMLA.
Ms. Duncan also worked on a successful appeal before the Georgia Supreme Court that resulted in a published opinion: Fulton County v. State, 282 Ga. 570 (2007).
