Courtney Thompson is an attorney with Powell Goldstein LLP's Labor, Employment & Immigration Practice Group. Ms. Thompson focuses her practice on employment litigation and employment-related government investigations by such agencies as the U.S. Department of Labor's Wage and Hour Division and the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission.
Prior to joining Powell Goldstein, Ms. Thompson practiced labor and employment law in Atlanta with Kilpatrick Stockton and Fisher & Phillips. During law school, Ms. Thompson clerked with the Office of General Counsel at the University of Alabama.
Ms. Thompson periodically presents programs to the South Metro Human Resource Association on a variety of human resource topics. She has also guest lectured at Kennesaw State University for its Executive MBA program.
She served as a volunteer lawyer in Dayton, Ohio for the 2004 U.S. presidential election.
