Robert M. Travis is the former Chairman of the Litigation Department. He concentrates in complex litigation management and trial practice.
Mr. Travis has significant experience in representing clients in national, regional and statewide litigation including service as national litigation counsel for Fortune 500 companies.
Mr. Travis has served as appellate counsel in a RICO case representing the CEO of a major subsidiary of a world-wide media company in an 8th Circuit appeal and obtaining the reversal in June 2008 of a $4.5 million federal civil RICO jury verdict and a judgment of dismissal for the client.
Mr. Travis was awarded an Exceptional Performance Citation by the Defense Research Institute “For Having Supported and Improved the Standards and Education of the Defense Bar, and For Having Contributed to the Improvement of the Administration of Justice in the Public Interest.”
