Karen W. Neely is an associate with Powell Goldstein LLP’s Litigation Group. Ms. Neely’s practice is devoted to the resolution of commercial disputes through negotiation, mediation, and state and federal litigation.  She has assisted in the litigation of claims for construction and transportation companies, financial institutions, and Fortune 500 Corporations. 

Ms. Neely has extensive federal court experience litigating claims arising out of employment relationships, including the defense of employers against discrimination and retaliation claims under Title VII, the ADEA, the ADA, the FMLA, and the FLSA. In addition to litigation, she advises employers on preventive management including the development of effective personnel policies and practices on harassment, hiring, and termination. Karen's practice also includes counseling employers on compliance with state employment laws.

Prior to attending law school, Karen worked for four years as a pharmaceutical representative with an international pharmaceutical manufacturer.
