Donna Rodney is the co-leader of the firm's Tax group, which includes teams of attorneys and professionals specializing in tax credit, trusts and estates, as well as corporate compliance, and are experienced practitioners on local, state and international taxation.  She focuses her practice on structuring low-income housing tax credit, historic rehabilitation tax credit and new markets tax credit transactions. Ms. Rodney represents institutional investors, syndicators and developers in real estate transactions utilizing a single type or combination of different types of tax credit programs. Ms. Rodney speaks frequently on issues related to historic tax credits, new markets tax credits and low-income housing tax credits. Prior to joining Powell Goldstein, Ms. Rodney advised commercial real estate owners and developers on environmental regulatory matters, and she has represented landlords in commercial leasing transactions.
