Damon J. Whitaker practices primarily in the areas of intellectual property and commercial litigation. He represents clients in both federal and state courts and alternative dispute resolution forums. Mr. Whitaker's practice involves the resolution of disputes over copyrights, patents, trademarks, trade dress, trade secrets, unfair competition, false advertising and restrictive covenants, along with other business disputes.

Mr. Whitaker's practice also includes counseling clients regarding state and federal trademark clearance and prosecution, as well as copyright registration and enforcement. Mr. Whitaker has also successfully prosecuted and defended several Internet domain name disputes under the Uniform Domain Name Dispute Resolution Policy (UDRP).

Mr. Whitaker has assisted both individuals and companies in a variety of fields, including supplemental health insurance, banking and finance, outdoor advertising, hair care and beauty, auto racing, computer security and real estate to protect their intellectual property and other commercial rights.
