Mr. Lystad is an associate in the Business and Finance department. He concentrates in the areas of mergers and acquisitions, securities and corporate governance. Mr. Lystad is a member of the Private Equity and Venture Capital group where he represents investors and issuers in all aspects of venture capital and other private equity finance transactions.

Mr. Lystad also advises clients in intellectual property transactions and information technology transactions. He assists clients through negotiating and drafting various professional service agreements, intellectual property licensing agreements and technology outsourcing transactions.

In addition to his corporate practice, Mr. Lystad practices in the areas of regulatory and legislative representation, lobbying on behalf of companies and local governments and representing clients in front of regulatory bodies and state agencies.

Mr. Lystad received his B.S. degree from North Georgia College in 2002. Mr. Lystad received his J.D. from Mercer University School of Law in 2005, and was a member of the Mercer Law Review, Mercer Moot Court Board, Brainerd Currie Honor Society and Dean's List.
