Laura Yeo represents general contractors, subcontractors, government contractors, and sureties, as well as corporate owners and developers, in a broad range of construction matters, including litigation in all forums, including district courts, agency boards of contract appeals, the Court of Federal Claims, and alternative dispute resolution. Ms. Yeo also has experience dealing with sureties and general liability insurance companies with respect to default terminations, affirmative construction claims, surety bad faith claims, performance and payment bond disputes, and general liability insurance coverage disputes. For example, Ms. Yeo represented a construction government contractor in a dispute with a subcontractor and its payment and performance bond surety. After the surety began rehabilitation and liquidation proceedings, collection efforts shifted to the general liability carrier for certain defective work that occurred on the project.

In addition, Ms. Yeo is experienced in drafting and negotiating contracts and subcontracts pertaining to a variety of subject matter. For example, Ms. Yeo has drafted agreements associated with the construction of facilities for a professional sports team.
