Mr. Schrock concentrates in commercial and corporate real estate law. He serves as the Chairman of the Financial Products and Real Estate Services Department and is a member of the Executive Committee of the Firm. The principal areas of his practice include the representation of investors, owners and managers in timber transactions involving millions of acres of timberland throughout the United States and in South America and the representation of companies and institutions nationwide in the ownership, operation and finance of corporate-owned real estate.
Mr. Schrock also has significant experience representing tenants and landlords in negotiating commercial leases, owners and operators of hotels and leisure projects, lenders and borrowers in secured loan and workout transactions and developers of office, industrial, retail and mixed-use facilities. Additional areas of expertise include the representation of institutions in the acquisition and operation of health care facilities and companies in the purchase and sale of mining properties.
Mr. Schrock has been recognized by Atlanta Magazine as a Georgia Super Lawyer in 2006, 2007 and 2008 and a leading expert in Real Estate in The Legal 500 US (2007 edition). |
