Curtis J. Romig is a member of the firm's Energy Practice Group. Prior to joining Powell Goldstein, Mr. Romig clerked in the Norfolk Division of the Eastern District of Virginia for the Honorable Henry Coke Morgan, Jr., United States District Judge. Mr. Romig's energy practice includes resolving disputes related to all aspects of energy marketing contracts and counseling the firm's clients in federal and state regulatory matters.

Mr. Romig has extensive dispute resolution experience representing utilities and energy marketers involved in energy marketing. He has counseled these clients in matters involving informal dispute resolution, mediation, arbitration and litigation. These representations have involved almost every aspect of power supply, demand and transmission.

Mr. Romig's regulatory experience has involved representing the Midwest ISO and the Kansas Corporation Commission before the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission in matters related to the development of regional transmission organizations.
