Linda Odom focuses her practice on the representation of technology-based and technology-reliant companies in licensing, software development, data processing outsourcing, intellectual property and e-commerce matters. Ms. Odom regularly drafts and negotiates software development and licensing agreements for trade associations, financial institutions, health care facilities, manufacturers, and start-up and mid-market technology companies. Representative projects include drafting and negotiating a software development and licensing agreement for a 13-member international manufacturing consortium, an international joint venture agreement to exploit jointly-developed software, and an offshore data processing outsourcing agreement. She often advises clients on intellectual property ownership issues arising from software or other development work.

Prior to becoming associated with the firm, Ms. Odom was an Investigative Attorney in the Office of Unfair Import Investigations at the U.S. International Trade Commission. As an Investigative Attorney, Ms. Odom participated in intellectual property infringement trials, primarily involving patents, at the U.S. International Trade Commission under section 337 of the Tariff Act.
