Robert C. Lewinson concentrates in complex commercial financing transactions, including commercial lending, public finance and asset-backed securitizations. Mr. Lewinson devotes a substantial portion of his practice to the representation of borrowers and financial institutions in connection with a wide variety of both single-lender and syndicated commercial financing transactions, public debt and mezzanine loans, including financings for manufacturing concerns and borrowers in the health care, timber, high technology and hospitality industries. He also has extensive experience representing letter of credit banks and corporate trustees and has served as bond counsel in connection with exempt small-issue bond financings, 501(c)(3) bond issues for hospitals and multi-family housing bond issues. Additionally, Mr. Lewinson has been involved in a number of workouts and debt restructurings in both the commercial lending and bond financing arenas, and frequently advises corporate clients of the Firm in connection with interest rate swaps and other derivatives transactions.
Clients of Mr. Lewinson include domestic and foreign banks, in addition to the hospital, long-term care, timber, manufacturing and other corporate clients of the Firm that he serves. |
