LeeAnn Jones practices civil litigation, with an emphasis on toxic tort, environmental and product liability litigation.
Ms. Jones has represented a variety of clients in chemical exposure litigation involving claims of personal injury and property damage. In particular, she has extensive experience in the trial of environmental and toxic tort cases. She has defended cases involving alleged injuries from exposure to or use of a variety of materials, including Agent Orange/dioxin, pesticides, volatile organic compounds (VOCs), ammonia, fluorine and pharmaceutical products. She also has participated in the trial of a major Superfund enforcement and cost recovery case. She has experience both litigating and counseling clients in connection with indoor air quality ("IAQ") issues. These cases frequently involve complex technical, scientific and medical issues. Ms. Jones has effectively utilized the U.S. Supreme Court's decision in Daubert v. Merrell Dow Pharmaceuticals to challenge opposing expert testimony.
Ms. Jones also has experience defending class actions in toxic tort, product liability and consumer fraud cases. Additionally, she has developed and implemented national and regional litigation programs to assist clients in managing and coordinating discovery and litigation. She has represented clients in the chemical, manufacturing, retail, pharmaceutical and pest control industries.
Ms. Jones has been recognized by Atlanta Magazine as a 2007 Georgia Superlawyer. |
