The focus of Mr. Galanek's practice is on complex commercial litigation and arbitration with an emphasis on litigating partnership and commercial contract disputes and matters involving breaches of fiduciary duty. He has substantial experience litigating the enforceability of noncompetition and nonsolicitation covenants, litigating claims arising out of employment relationships and litigating trade secret disputes for high growth companies, financial institutions and Fortune 500 Corporations.
Mr. Galanek has developed and managed national discovery counsel programs for clients facing serial litigation matters in multiple jurisdictions. He also has significant experience defending clients against class actions and class arbitrations. Mr. Galanek is familiar with, and has participated in, various forms of alternative dispute resolution, including mediation and arbitration both as an advocate and as a neutral, and is certified by the Georgia Office of Dispute Resolution as an arbitrator and a mediator.
Mr. Galanek has been recognized by Atlanta Magazine as a 2007 and 2008 Georgia Superlawyer. |
