Michael Chanin focuses his practice on corporate matters and trade associations. He is particularly involved in representing technology companies, both established and development stage entities. He advises on and helps implement acquisition, financing and business strategies, including public and private financing, joint ventures, and mergers and acquisitions. Mr. Chanin co-chairs the firm's Biotechnology and Life Sciences task force.
Mr. Chanin has also served as a principal outside counsel for several associations where he advises on governance, structural and antitrust issues, business contracts, election and lobbying law and intellectual property.
From 1978 to 1981, he served as Deputy Assistant to the President of the United States. |
