Anthony Boggs concentrates in the areas of taxation and business transactions. Mr. Boggs has substantial experience in structuring business transactions to achieve client business goals in a tax advantageous manner. He has worked extensively on transactional and tax matters involving partnerships, limited liability companies and S corporations.

Mr. Boggs' general corporate practice involves representing clients with respect to general corporate and transactional matters, including the following: corporate, partnership and limited liability company mergers, acquisitions and divisions; choice of entity and organizational structure; shareholder and buy-sell agreements; and equity and debt financings. Mr. Boggs has substantial experience negotiating and drafting partnership agreements and limited liability company operating agreements.

Mr. Boggs' tax practice involves federal and state income tax planning, including the following: tax advice and planning with respect to partnerships, limited liability companies and S corporations; tax planning with respect to disposition and acquisition of real estate, including Section 1031 exchange transactions; structuring tax-free mergers and divisions involving corporations, partnerships and limited liability companies; dispositions and acquisitions of assets, stock, limited liability company and partnership interests; organization and financing of start-up companies; state and local tax matters; and tax controversy matters.
