David M. Armitage serves as the Department Manager of the Firm's Corporate and Technology Department and sits on the Firm's Executive Committee. He co-chairs the Firm's Opinion Letter Committee. He represents financial institutions and borrowers in a variety of complex financing transactions as well as corporations and other business entities in connection with mergers, acquisitions and general business counseling. During his thirty-one years at the Firm, Mr. Armitage has particularly emphasized the areas of mergers and acquisitions, aircraft transactions and finance, leveraged lease finance, asset-based finance, equipment leasing, securitization and secured transactions. Representative clients have included senior and subordinated lenders, institutional trustees, foreign and domestic banks, Fortune 1000 companies and business entities of all sizes and types engaged in the manufacturing, service, and financial services industries.

Mr. Armitage has also been recognized by Atlanta Magazine as a 2008 Georgia Superlawyer.
