Bonita Wang is a member of the Employee Benefits and Executive Compensation service team.  Her practice focuses on designing and implementing employee benefit plans (such as 401(k) plans, ESOP, and severance pay plans), ERISA issues, and executive compensation packages (such as nonqualified stock option plans).  She also has experience in QDRO matters. 

Prior to joining Powell Goldstein, Ms. Wang spent two years at Page, Scrantom, Sprouse, Tucker & Ford, P.C. as a tax/corporate associate before returning to school on a full-tuition scholarship to receive her L.L.M. in taxation. 

As an associate, Ms. Wang assisted with estate planning and management of family wealth matters, employee benefit plans and conducting business transactions for closely held corporations.  Additionally, she filed numerous gift tax returns, represented tax exempt organizations, and also assisted with general civil litigation matters.

During law school Ms. Wang was on the Dean’s List each semester, and earned the highest grade in her American Constitution, Jurisdiction and Judgment, Torts and Immigration law courses.  In addition, she was a finalist on the Vale Corporate moot court competition.
