Lisa Purdy is an associate in the Washington, D.C., office of Powell Goldstein LLP and is a member of the International Law Practice Group.
Ms. Purdy focuses her practice on international anti-corruption, trade and corporate matters. She advises multinational companies with respect to compliance with the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA) and other international requirements. Ms. Purdy also counsels clients on a number of issues, including defense policy, foreign relations, international business transactions and export control.
Ms. Purdy has experience with international trade and market access issues, primarily concerning the defense of companies and governments in antidumping, countervailing duty and safeguard proceedings. In addition to advising companies on a number of Customs compliance matters, including prior disclosures, Ms. Purdy has also worked on internal investigations, litigation, and government contracts matters.
Prior to joining Powell Goldstein, Ms. Purdy worked on matters of post-conflict justice and development economics. She has held research positions at the UNICEF Innocenti Research Centre in Florence, Italy, and the Center for Development Research in Bonn, Germany. |
