Ms. Grynol's practice focuses on assisting with clients' defense against discrimination and retaliation claims under Title VII, the ADEA, the ADA , the FMLA, and the FLSA. In addition to litigation, Ms. Grynol advises employers on preventive management including the development of effective personnel policies and practices on harassment, hiring and termination.
Prior to joining Powell Goldstein, Ms. Grynol clerked for Judge C. Ashley Royal in the Middle District of Georgia where she assisted Judge Royal in numerous trials, some of which involved FMLA and Title VII matters. Additionally, Ms. Grynol assisted Judge Royal in preparing a summary judgment order in a FLSA case which was affirmed by the 11th Circuit Court of Appeals.
During law school Ms. Grynol received the ABA-BNA Award for Excellence in the Study of Labor and Employment Law. This prestigious award is only given to the top three law students of each class in recognition of their superior academic performance. |
