Howard Hirsch is a member of Powell Goldstein LLP's Business & Finance practice group. Mr. Hirsch focuses his practice in the areas of securities law and commercial transactions. He has extensive experience in public securities offerings, SEC reporting, corporate and securities compliance matters, private placements and mergers and acquisitions.

Mr. Hirsch's significant experience includes:

• Securities matters and general corporate matters for publicly-held traded and non-traded REITs

• Public and private securities offerings, securities filings under the Securities Act of 1933 and reporting under the Securities Exchange Act of 1934

• Corporate governance best practices and Sarbanes-Oxley compliance

• SEC, FINRA and Blue Sky regulatory matters in connection with registrations of public offerings of non-traded REITs and real estate partnerships, including detailed analysis and negotiation of NASAA Guidelines provisions

• Proxy Solicitations

• Board of Directors and Audit Committee representation

Mr. Hirsch has previous litigation experience, including airline litigation, medical malpractice litigation, municipality defense and insurance coverage litigation. Additionally Mr. Hirsch has career experience in restaurant management and sales.

Mr. Hirsch was selected as a 2006 Georgia Super Lawyers' Rising Star.
