Karen Reschly is an associate in Powell Goldstein LLP's Tax practice group. Ms. Reschly focuses on issues relating to the taxation of business entities and transactions. She also works closely with the Business & Finance practice group representing institutional and high net worth individual clients in both domestic and foreign timberland investments. Ms. Reschly's prior work experience involved drafting qualified and non-qualified pension plans and executive compensation agreements, as well as resolving employment and income tax issues relating to the same.

During law and undergraduate school, Ms. Reschly was the recipient of several honors and awards. While earning her LL.M in Taxation at the University of Florida , she was awarded the position of Graduate Tax Scholar. During law school at Florida State University, Ms. Reschly was honored on the Dean's List, was the recipient of the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers Family Law Scholarship and was awarded the Book Award in Antitrust and the Book Award in Pass-Through Entities Tax.

In undergraduate school at the University of Florida , Ms. Reschly was honored with a National Security Council Education Program (NSEP) Grant to study Arabic in Morocco. Additional honors and activities include, the Deans List, President of Pi Sigma Alpha (National Political Science Honor Society), Secretary of IDEAL (Informing and Developing Active Leaders) and Community Service Chairman of the Golden Key National Honor Society.

Prior to joining Powell Goldstein, Ms. Reschly was an associate with Mazursky Constantine LLC.
