Robyn Farmer is an associate with Powell Goldstein LLP. Ms. Farmer regularly handles federal and state lawsuits, arbitrations and administrative claims regarding age, race, gender, disability or other types of discrimination and harassment, as well as litigation related to family and medical leave. Ms. Farmer also devotes a portion of her practice to employment agreements, including restrictive covenant agreements. Additionally, Ms. Farmer has experience responding to unfair labor practice allegations.
Ms. Farmer routinely works with clients to prevent litigation or other claims through counseling and by establishing effective policies, procedures and agreements. Ms. Farmer also provides training and seminars on topics such as harassment and discrimination, understanding the FMLA and ADA and best practices for hiring and terminating employees.
Ms. Farmer also serves as an adjunct professor of Employment Law for the MBA program at Piedmont College. Prior to attending law school, Ms. Farmer worked in pharmaceutical marketing and public relations. |
