Charles C. Connors is a partner with Powell Goldstein LLP's Business & Finance Practice Group. His practice primarily involves representing timberland investment organizations ("TIMOs") and real estate investment trusts ("REITs"), as well as institutional and high-net-worth investors in timber and timberland.  He also has substantial experience in private equity, venture capital and commercial real estate investment, representing fund sponsors and investors (particularly tax-exempt and international investors).

The focus of his practice is providing tax and structuring advice with respect to large domestic and international timberland acquisitions.  He also advises clients with respect to the formation and operation of international timberland investment funds.  Mr. Connors also regularly represents financial institutions providing structured finance and other financial solutions to the forest products industry.
