John C. Bush is an associate with Powell Goldstein's Technology and Intellectual Property practice group. Mr. Bush's practice focuses on intellectual property litigation and prosecution, as well as general commercial litigation. Mr. Bush is a registered patent agent.
In law school, Mr. Bush served as an articles editor of the Vanderbilt Law Review, as a member of the Moot Court Board and as vice president of the Honor Council. An Honor Scholarship recipient, he also interned with the Tennessee Supreme Court and with the Tennessee Court of Criminal Appeals. In college, Mr. Bush served terms as editorial page editor of The Chronicle, where he managed the editorial board and oversaw two full pages of content each weekday, and later, served as online editor, where he led the consolidation of a 10-person programming and content staff into a single content editor. As a senior, Mr. Bush was a semifinalist for the Young Trustee position on the Duke University Board of Trustees.
