Mr. Stanton's practice consists of litigating employment discrimination charges and complaints in both state and federal courts and before various administrative agencies. He focuses also on preventive practices to help employers avoid litigation, including advising clients on proper hiring, discipline and termination practices, conducting internal harassment and discrimination investigations, communicating effectively with employees and properly maintaining employee personnel records.

Additionally, Mr. Stanton assists clients on a variety of workplace safety matters, including representing employers before the Occupational Safety and Health Administration and state workplace safety agencies, supervising on-site safety investigations and conducting research on safety regulations and issues.

Mr. Stanton regularly conducts training and information seminars on topics such as workplace harassment, discrimination, how to handle employee complaints and best practices for hiring, disciplining and terminating employees. Most recently, he has conducted several Continuing Legal Education classes on various employment law issues and presented to the Georgia State Employer Committee and several Atlanta-area Chambers of Commerce.

Prior to law school, Mr. Stanton worked for three years as an account executive for a technology company in Alpharetta, Georgia.
