Edward Fields' practice focuses on real estate law. Mr. Fields is Board Certified in Commercial Real Estate Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization.
Mr. Fields' practice falls into four primary areas:
- real estate sales, acquisitions and development;
- mortgage loan origination (including structured financing, and CMBS products);
- mortgage loan servicing (both master and special); and
- other general real estate law matters (entity structuring, leasing, zoning, licensing, etc.).
Mr. Fields has recently spent time on residential land development (primarily in Texas), numerous sales and acquisitions of various property types (primarily in the western U.S.), a high volume of loan servicing work (throughout the U.S.), and a high volume of mortgage loan originations (throughout the U.S.).
