Ms. Brown focuses primarily in the area of real estate finance. She represents institutional lenders as well as master and special loan servicers in connection with the negotiation, documentation and financing of both unsecuritized and securitized commercial real estate loans. She has represented landlords and tenants in lease negotiation and documentation. Ms. Brown is also experienced with the acquisition and disposition of improved and unimproved commercial real property.

Prior to joining Powell Goldstein, Ms. Brown was an attorney at Akin Gump Strauss Hauer & Feld LLP.

Ms. Brown received her B.B.A. cum laude in finance and her B.A. cum laude in art history in 1995 from Southern Methodist University, where she was a member of Phi Beta Kappa. She received her J.D. from Southern Methodist University in 1998.
