Mitesh Patel is an associate in the Business & Finance Practice Group. Mr. Patel focuses his practice in the areas of real estate capital markets, securities, mergers and acquisitions, corporate finance and aviation transactions.
Mr. Patel's recent experience includes representing several private REITs and representation of a newly-formed, non-traded REIT in a $1 billion initial public offering. Mr. Patel handles issues related to corporate governance, REIT compliance, blue sky filings and compliance, and other SEC compliance.
Prior to joining Powell Goldstein LLP, Mr. Patel was employed as a financial analyst with a multi-billion dollar international manufacturing corporation where he performed financial analysis and problem solving on various projects such as production, plant expansions, and lean manufacturing. He was selected by the Japanese Vice President to be his American liaison during client and supplier corporate business trips. He also worked as an executive recruiter where he recruited mid to upper level financial executives for regional and Fortune 1000 clients.
During law school, Mr. Patel was president of the Asian and Pacific-American Law Student Association and Chair of the Honor Committee.
