I joined Powell Goldstein as a first year law student summer associate. The decision to re-join Powell Goldstein the next summer was an easy one. After splitting that summer with another large law firm, I faced an important choice. I have never regretted, however, choosing to come and stay with Powell Goldstein as a first year associate. I chose this firm for a number of reasons, but I consider the mentoring and individual relationships the most significant factor. As a first year associate and every year since, I have had wonderful champions in this firm who care about my professional and personal development. I found invaluable the partners who would ensure I received quality work assignments and experience and helped me to build other important relationships with the firm. I have found these relationships to be key in the success of my career and my personal happiness as a lawyer. |
