Wendy L. Hagenau, Practice Group Leader of the firm's Bankruptcy and Financial Restructuring practice, was named a Director of the Southeastern Bankruptcy Law Institute ("SBLI"). The SBLI conducts an annual seminar of bankruptcy laws and rules, considered by many to be the best in the country. Penn Nicholson, a partner at Powell Goldstein, has just completed two years as president followed by one year as chair of the SBLI. At the Board's request, he will continue to serve as vice chair of two of the standing committees he established.
