Jennifer Devine Odom

Jennifer Odom, a partner on Powell Goldstein's Securities, Corporate & Regulatory Litigation team, was recognized as one of 40 Atlanta "Up-and-Comers" through the Atlanta Business Chronicle's "40-Under-40" program. Nominations for this recognition include young businessmen and -women and professionals who have demonstrated significant ability and accomplishments. There were 260 nominations this year, 50% more than last year.

An excerpt from Ms. Odom's mention in the Atlanta Business Chronicle is below:

Powell Goldstein Partner Jennifer Odom believes discrimination and racism have no place in society. "It negatively impacts our society, people's experiences and how people interact with each other," she said.

Since this behavior usually starts to take shape in middle school, Odom works with students to stop it before it becomes a problem.

Odom helped organize and chair the 2005 and 2006 Power Over Prejudice summits, a program of the Anti-Prejudice Consortium.
