“Accounting firms are absolutely doing more work on the due diligence side of corporate transactions,” added Powell Goldstein partner Thomas R. McNeill, chair of the State Bar of Georgia business law section. “Accounting firms would like to take over that whole business' of conducting due diligence on transactions, McNeill said.
