Powell Goldstein's Energy Practice Group has over 30 years of collective experience in all aspects of competitive energy markets, and draws upon the strengths of an extensive and integrated team of energy and related practitioners from both our Washington and Atlanta offices.
Members of the Energy practice have assisted in the structuring and implementation of the regulations pursuant to which competitive markets operate, and as in-house counsel for organizations dedicated to the development of competitive energy markets. As a result, PoGo's Energy practice provides a comprehensive perspective for the benefit of our clients.
PoGo's Energy practice provides regulatory compliance and strategic advice and assistance to regional transmission organizations, regional transmission system operators, utilities, independent energy project developers and other entities in virtually every aspect of the energy business.

Powell Goldstein has extensive dispute resolution experience representing utilities and energy marketers. We have counseled clients in matters involving informal dispute resolution, mediation, arbitration and litigation. These representations have involved almost every aspect of power supply, demand and transmission and have resulted in several significant successes for our clients.
