Human Resources Training

The United States Supreme Court has expressly told employers that effective training can eliminate or reduce liability for harassment and discrimination claims. The key to a strong defense is effectiveness, which means that training has to have an impact, be practical and not be filled with unnecessary legal language.

Clients go to PoGo for customized training provided by our attorneys. Our curricula of courses numbers in the hundreds, from hiring to harassment. We strive to offer informative, yet entertaining, seminars that elicit open discussions and encourage retention through real life examples. PoGo can provide the best employment law speakers and trainers in the country. But we also provide outlines for in-house counsel or human resource managers to conduct their own internal programs, including "train-the-trainer" options.

To determine which combination of innovative training is proper, Powell Goldstein's attorneys work with individual clients to design schedule and content. This reflects a company's goals for the training, whether preventative, financial and/or otherwise. It also encompasses a range of considerations, from beginner to advanced subjects, to the type of presenter and audience.
