- Counseled a foreign bank on a term loan to refinance a golf and country club residential community on Florida's Treasure Coast
- Served as counsel to a foreign bank participating in multiple credit facilities to provide over $461 million in construction, working capital, tax-exempt and term financing for a cogeneration project in New Jersey
- Represented lessor partnerships in over $25 million of sale-leaseback financings for the computer building and laboratory facilities of a large regional development agency in Alabama and Tennessee
- Served as counsel when a public fund purchased approximately $400 million of FHA-insured multi-family mortgage loans in the secondary market
- Served as underwriter's counsel for financing of various multi-family housing projects in Arizona, Illinois and Minnesota through financing structures involving combinations of FHA insurance, GNMA guaranties, bank letters of credit and tax-exempt bonds
- Counseled lenders for various workouts and foreclosures of distressed real estate projects--including hotels, apartment complexes, office buildings and retail facilities--with taxable and tax-exempt financing as well as new loans, construction loans and modifications of existing loans on performing assets
- Served as lender's counsel for subordinate financing of a large shopping center in metropolitan Atlanta
- Served as counsel to purchaser/lessor in sale-leaseback of a large office building in downtown Atlanta
- Served as lender's counsel for national banking in its construction lending activities
- Counseled for life insurance company in financing two regional retail malls
- Counseled for mezzanine lender for more than 50 commercial projects
- Served as counsel for CMBS Services for more than 50 assumptions and loan modifications
