In conjunction with our Government Relations practice, we work to shape federal legislation; federal regulations promulgated by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS - formerly HCFA) and the Food and Drug Administration; national Medicare and Medicaid coverage and payment policies and manual instructions; Medicare policies established by the DMERCs, SADMERC and other Medicare Carriers; coverage policies and product classifications established by the U.S. Departments of Defense (DoD) and Veterans Affairs (VA); and coverage policies established by state Medicaid agencies and state legislatures.
