• Represented a national practice management company in establishing its provider network affiliates in the Atlanta market
• Advised both providers and employers in connection with their managed care arrangements, including representation of providers establishing preferred provider organizations, independent practice associations and physician-hospital organizations
• Represented a publicly traded company that provides self-funded health plan benefits to its employees in its direct managed care contracting arrangements with providers
• Defended a managed care organization against claims by a TPA for injunctions and damages arising out of the relationship between the two organizations
• Assisted a Georgia health maintenance organization in obtaining the appropriate licensure from the Georgia Department of Insurance
• Challenged "silent PPO" complaints on behalf of health care providers
